Presence (2018) – interactive installation

“Presence” is an interactive installation created for my final bachelor degree project. The software used are Max / Msp and OSC protocol for the audio and Processing for the visual part.
The installation is based on the reception of the movements of the audience trough a spatial mapping of the room: the movements generate the sound and visual response from the system. The absence of movement therefore provokes silence, emphasizing the link between body movement and the generation of sound / absence of it.
Both the visuals and the music are generated in real-time and the latter is spatialized with Ambisonics in a 4.1 speakers setup.
